Tuesday morning.... Big time rain storm, just before sunrise, curtailed our bike ride up to Crane Point (bay side)... .but we still got up and walked to breakfast, over at the Stuffed Pig Restaurant with Earl, and Kathy (s/v SEEKER).
Nice.
Then we split forces....Susan had called Karen Phillips back on the phone... and asked if she would do a huge favor for Earl... transport a battery core back to WM...when she was out taking Tony to work (at WM)....
So... Kathy and I went back to our respective boats.... while Earl, Susan, and Karen did errands involving the 'car'.
(Cruisers helping cruisers.... love it).

The mid-day was taken up with boat projects... cleaning out lockers/ trimming the "STUFF" carried by AB...
We ended up with a huge bag of JUNK (going to trash bin), and one large TUB of what we've been calling a "pay-it-forward" package...
The "pay it forward" tub was going to another local cruiser, here in the harbor... who is literally just getting started.... Doesn't even have an engine for his sailboat yet....
So, last week we gave him a bag full of acrylic glasses to choose from, and pass the rest on to others.... Last night we delivered the TUB of electronic parts, lines, 12 V fans... and God knows what else over to his boat....
He will pick and choose, and then pass the rest on.... (at least that's the plan)...

That delivery was after Taco Tuesday at the Hurricane.... where we joined SEEKER, and a whole bunch of cruisers... Meeting some very interesting folks from Oregon.

The evening was spent on our dinghy, in a dinghy raft outside the Dockside Bar.
There was an event, hosted by Eric Stone, and Corey to benefit a local VET (Sonny)
The main performer was "The Soldier Poet" (Gary Hannen), who travels the country, throwing these benefits for local veterans in need.

The Dockside as suspected was "standing room only"... so we just cruised up there, after Taco Tuesday...and rafting up with a lot of others.... Listening to the music, and enjoying the concert from the water... SEE pics (below or above)...
