Yesterday, Tuesday, Rich Dilcher, and his friend Peter Schwartzott came down to Vero Beach to see us.
Wonderful Visit!! We met them at the dinghy dock at about noon... and then proceeded to lunch at the beach, at Mulligan's beach bar and Grille. Eating outside... even during a squall... NICE... absolutely phenomenal view of the ocean...
Funny though... As I think of the 'view' of the ocean... and how Rich, Peter, Susan and I thought about what we saw.... Peter thought the view was "wonderful".... Susan and I saw "lumpy ride"... big waves... Totally different perspectives!! (of course that went "un-said")...
After lunch we toured around Vero Beach a little by car.... Peter and Rich loved the vegetation... and gardening in the homes along the beach road... $$$$ It is wonderful to look at.... 
Then we went the north along the board walk.... Then back to AB... they took a dinghy ride with us through the harbor to the north end and boarded Autumn Borne. Rich had been on AB in the FALL at Titusville, but we gave the FULL tour to Peter... I think he was amazed at the complexity of a full cruise boat...
They left in the very late PM.... The weather while they were here... gave us respite from the predicted rains (except for the squall during lunch)... and was sunny the whole time they were here...
Today, on the other hand has been one storm warning after another... especially for the counties just SOUTH of Vero Beach.... Including Lake Worth, where "Dalmatian" is anchored.
Today is our anniversary, as so many on FB, and emails have congratulated us on.... Yep.. Susan has been an life-long friend, lover, crew mate, and the best thing that ever happened to me.
She has adapted to so many major life changes during our 48 years of marriage... Changing Jobs; Viet Nam; changing careers; the Birth, and growth of our Daughter Ruth, retirement; moving onto a sailing vessel.... Really Major Changes !!! Thank you Susan!!!
The Storms that are in this area...are sort of limiting our celebration activities today... (Tornado Warnings, etc. ) but I'm sure we'll find a way to celebrate later...
