The last few days Susan and I have incorporated the normal boat projects, with enjoying the company of a couple from Seattle WA, Tad and Joyce (s/v "Lyric" - Alden 40-+ ).
Tad and Joyce are on their final few legs of a circumnavigation of the world. They came through the Panama Canal from the Pacific, and sailed the Caribbean. Now they're on the way up the Erie Canal to Lake Erie; do some fun type racing with their Alden 42 (?) at the west end of the lake; then they'll sail up to Wisconsin (perhaps Greenbay), and ship "LYRIC" home to Seattle by truck.

We've been sharing meals, and trucking them to stores, etc. NICE days...
Susan and I toured the Alden while at the dock after the mast was down; layout is great for a passage boat... SO much different than the "open layouts" of today's production boats (where it looks like you can hold a dance in the main salon).

Susan was busy with laundry yesterday, while I found three leaks in the dinghy tubes...
UG !!! I keep patching it... but it's getting to the point where there'll be more patches than virgin tubes (hypalon).

I've been adjusting the action, and neck of the Gibson too....Which seems to be changing... I'm not sure if the salt air, and dryness is a factor, but it IS rough on wooden instruments.

We bought a new Genoa deck storage bag for the stays'l on AB... So I raised the stays'l to let it dry, in the wind, before storing it away in the bag...
So... It looked like there was a lot of deck action yesterday.
