step three, polish with tin foil dipped in diet coke
step four, polish with never-dull, wipe with dry cloth when done
step five, wax with automotive wax

Debra took that on while i polished some other stainless, mounted a block on the deck, and polished the plexiglas windows and hatches.

a very rewarding shine!

Our winches were in a sad way, with yucky chrome and no shine. today we attacked their cleaning. before picture:

We removed the interior floorboards (as much/many as possible)) and are varnishing them in the garage. the interior of the boat is MUCH larger when removed, or so it seems! coat one this AM, with more to come! the gloss is very rewarding.

Debra has made slipcovers for all our salon cushions. we bought microfiber sheets from Costco and she used the fabric to make slipcovers. other sets were modified to fit the v-berth. Don't they look great?

Debra passed her advanced piloting course in December with the Canadian power & sail squadron -- part of our ongoing education program. Congrats!
