Reached Durban late at night just before Christmas. The marina is right in the middle of the city. Most yacht related businesses are just outside the gate. The two yacht clubs are the Royal Natal YC & the Point YC. Both offer free membership to visiting yachts and have excellent services (showers, bars, food, internet etc)Your text to link.... Information about cruising the "Wild Coast" can be found at Your text to link... There is an excellent weather link at this site which is run by a cruiser named Tony Herrick. This is especially important because this coast is renowned for it's frequent gales and the charts warn of "Abnormal waves" up to 20m followed by a steep trough.
