Fellow 'Pirates'

Glenn
We have a very loose group of four boats that we collectivly call the 'Blue Heron Basin Pirate Fleet'. I am 'Commander for Life'. I'll have to watch my back! The two boats in the picture are members. Missing is Sundance IV, off swilling rum in the islands! Pictured are Kees and Betty on Invitation II in the lead and Jan and Dianne on Eagle III pretending they are a sailboat. We had a beautiful, sunny, warm run up Jervis Inlet that morning. We left Egmont around 6am to arrive at Malibu Rapids in time for the turn. Auto pilots really payoff on a nice quiet trip like this. Feel free to add a comment, it's the only way I can tell if anyone reads my babble!

Vessel Name: Bacchus V
Vessel Make/Model: 1986 C+C 35 mk III
Hailing Port: Sidney B.C. on the west coast of Canada
Crew: Glenn and Gaie Judson
About: We're now empty nesters. Where was the larger boat when we really needed the space?
Extra: Bacchus is named for the Roman God of wine and partying. It was a good fit, but it's sometimes interesting crossing the border! 'check that boat for wine!'
