On our way from Pender Harbour to Princess Louisa Inlet, we stopped for the night at West's Resort, just outside of Egmont. Their primary focus is camping but they do have some wharf space. They also have the BEST view of the sunset. I'll add a second picture to show you! Egmont is an interesting pocket of a town with a great little museum that really covers it's pioneer heritage. Another site not to be missed is the Skookumchuck Rapids. They are a reversing set of rapids (huge) that reach speeds of 15 knots! I have witnessed it from shore after a 1 hr trail walk to the viewing point. The solid granite bank I was sitting on was vibrating. It was interesting watching kayakers paddling in the waves like it was nothing. West's Resort is on Facebook and is at www.westsresort.com

Vessel Name: Bacchus V
Vessel Make/Model: 1986 C+C 35 mk III
Hailing Port: Sidney B.C. on the west coast of Canada
Crew: Glenn and Gaie Judson
About: We're now empty nesters. Where was the larger boat when we really needed the space?
Extra: Bacchus is named for the Roman God of wine and partying. It was a good fit, but it's sometimes interesting crossing the border! 'check that boat for wine!'
