Leaving UK for France!
13 June 2014 | Falmouth
Galley Slave/sunny, warm
We arrived in Falmouth on Monday 9th June after an 8 hour trip from Plymouth in lumpy seas, with a swell of 6-9ft; the Galley slave wasn't too good and no work in the galley was undertaken but both new buckets were christened!
We have had a good stay in Falmouth renewing our liking for the place and being amazed at the size of the yachts in the marina but we just missed the Pendennis Cup so they were here for those festivities and some have stayed on for the Classics weekend which starts today the 13th June.
We are heading for L'aber Wrac'h today as the weather is good and conditions better. We think it will take about 20 hours depending on the wind so will be out of touch for this time , however keep watching as we are on our way.
