Monday we began our transit from Avalon to San Diego motor sailing under grey skies with 8 kts on our nose. By noon the wind backed, built a little and the skies cleared allowing us to set the spinnaker and enjoy a few hrs of very pleasant sailing. We are slowly getting everything stowed and are beginning to adjust to the life aquatic. It’s surprising, but we seem to keep quite busy. Regardless if we are in port or underway, there is always something to do. I’ve hardly touched my reading yet. In fact, Wendy just informed me that of the 314 items on our pre-departure to-do list, we still have 35 to complete…
