We made some really good progress today. We had a beautiful night of sailing last night headed East with only the Jib and 15-20 knots of wind (after a couple hours motor sailing). Kept sailing that way into the morning. Then we put up the spinnaker in the afternoon and have been scooting right along. One thing that is very cool is that the set waves coming through are HUGE!!! Like.... small hill sized. We just roll right over the top of them though. I keep imagining what the surf will be like wherever those behemoths are making land fall. The nights have gotten colder as we went further south and I cant wait until a few more days when we can turn northward again toward more tropical climates. That's all for now. -Gavin
