Resfeber. The How the Whozit do you pronounce this word is actually Swedish and means just as you've read. Have YOU been bitten by excitement that comes with a Would Be Travel Bug?
You don't have to have the Travel Bug to feel Resfeber. It can relate to any new journey, physical or other. Having just spent some time with family and friends back in Canada, we know that some of them are feeling Resfeber-ish. A new job. A new School Year. Changes in relationships. Changes in homes. And some are, like us, caught with the Travel Bug.

We started the day off by penning our To Do List. After the Souls of our feet did the OOH, AAH, OOH dance as our feet touched the extremely hot deck, the First Order of Priority quickly became "let's get the cockpit canvas" up.
"Wait Dave" I quickly interjected as I saw him struggling with the middle piece,
"Before you zipper that on, I'd like to wax the stainless".
"Yes, Dear" he wisely replied as he sat down to wait me out.
That done, canvas back on, and then I coated the zippers with some extra lube to help against the salties.
Then it was back into
Woking mode.
"Woking: Standing in the kitchen wondering what you came in here for."
The hot Grenadian Sun was quick to heat our life up, and it wasn't long before we were glad we had the sunshades up and attached as well,
and pretty soon
Banyan was slowly starting to resemble like someone might actually be home.
"Is it lunchtime yet?" Dave queried in a
I'm Hangry tone.
I think he knew, deep down inside that this being Friday, it was Build a Burger Day at Merry Bakers. It was a short walk over with the smell of BBQ'ing Burgers hitting our nostrils about halfway up the road, making our tummies rumble in anticipation.
We walked into the shop to say hi to Merry, grab a plate and a bun, add the fixin's,
pay our dues, and go back out to see Nigel,
who plopped a burger onto our bun, along with some fried onions. Oh My.
The fresh baked buns are too much bread for me, so I just have mine on the fixin's, and save the bun for later.
We were thrilled to meet up with friends on Second Spary, as well as Annie and Cam, of SV ANNECAM,
as well as a few other cruisers that seemed familiar to us.
We had a bit of a
WHOSSET moment. Specifically and more correctly, the word is
whasset which means as follows:
"Whasset: A business card in your wallet belonging to someone whom you have no recollection of meeting
Either way, it's always fun to see people you know you've met, have an "Oh Dear" moment, shake hands and giggle, and try to figure out where and when the original meeting occurred.

We spent the remainder of the afternoon lounging in the shade, getting caught up on emails and doing some research, and being in a place of Fernweh.
"Fernweh:, German for "longing for a place you've never been to"
A swim at the pool where we
utepilled.
Utepils: Norwegian word which means 'to sit outside on a sunny day enjoying a beer'
and Dave might have been
Alcoyed.
Alcoy: Wanting to be coerced into having another drink
And then a good long shower at the great PLM showers, a change of clothes and back to the Victory Bar for their Friday Night BBQ where we had another
whosset moment or two.
Just
resfeberring here in Grenada. How about you?
