One "last" sail ?

So here it was seemingly just another working day.
The weather was gorgeous and Dave and I decided to take full advantage of being adults and doing what we want, when we want, how we want, and instead of being responsible and clearing and cleaning out the lovely Illihee II, we decided instead, to go for one "last" sail (I mean, really, how could we not?? So off we went, just in and around the harbour and what a beautiful day it was...
There were 2 cruise ships in town visiting, tied up at Pier 21 and boy, does one ever feel insignificant next to them.
We watched as one of them, the Norwegian Cruise line, dropped her lines off she went, on the next trek of her journy to distant lands... Poor ol' HMCS Halifax had to stop and give the cruise ship a wide berth as she came around George's Island. Even she looked small by comparison... you can't hardly notice the little sailing vessel next to HMCS Halifax either (check out the most recent pictures in our gallery)
The sun was ready to go down and it was just barely after supper time, a sure sign that fall is imminent and the days are shorter, the nights longer, and the weather colder. A feeling of sadness crept over me knowing that she would have to be put away for the winter and would we even get to sail next summer?
Dave and I opted to not take the sails down as we'd originally planned, thinking that perhaps, just perhaps, we'd have some time this weekend to, once again, get in "one last sail" one last time?? But that would have to be "it" though as Dave is leaving and when he comes back she comes out of the water. So this weekend is "IT".
