Could it be, Season 4 ??

Well, WTF ? I have no idea what happened to Season 3. And my blogging in Season 3. I do know it's time to blog again. I've seriously missed it. We are no closer and no further from our dream. We are in limbo. And we hate it. We've done so much, but seemingly, have done so little, actually feels like we're almost worse off than before ! But not really. It's hard sometimes when you want something so much, to put the (seemingly) lack of movement into perspective as the end goal still seems so far away...
In the meantime, it's back to blogging and doing and planning and learning, and maybe in the next couple of months, even start a serious countdown of sorts.
However, here's the goings on...
Work totally took over our lives last year, but we still managed a perfect sailabout vacation to Lunebourg, and Chester and environs last August. Three weeks of pure heaven !! (isn't the sailling life always "heaven" LOL), we spent mornings watching the wildlife over coffee, the days sailing and swimming (which off the coast of Nova Scotia is pretty damn incredible !!), evenings watching the meteor while anchored by Packman's Island, nights being rocked to sleep by the lulling of the water... wake up and repeat. Heaven indeed non ?
We also managed a lovely week's vacation and fantastic walk-about at the Annapolis Boat Show (lovely - can we have one of each ??!!) We clambered aboard so many vessels we lost count. But it was nice to actually clamber aboard, instead of just doing the virtual imagining thing !!
Our lovely Illihee II is for sale :( She's a great great way to spend evenings, weekends, and summer vacations cruising along in comfort and space. She's in excellent condition, well maintained and if we didn't have this dream, we'd be keeping her. On the off chance you might be interested (C&C MKII), leave a comment, and we'll get in touch with you !
But in preparation of our eventual departure, we have started to scratch a few things off the "to do" list... and so really, a lot has happened in Season 3. My son moved out and is attending University, and so that was a whole new kettle of fish and adjustments. My daughter and I moved in with Dave and his son, and that was a whole new kettle of fish and adjustments. I sold 20 years of memories and that was quite a bunch of downsizing happening, so that too, was a whole new kettle of fish and adjustments !!
So now that life has settled back down just a tad (until the next adjustment), we have a list of things to do that's still seemingly a mile long, and growing, and no known variables to help us along the way. Sigh, frustrating to say the least. At least we have a dream, and a flexible plan (of sorts), and we've started, so we're damn proud of that !!
So glad to be back at it !!
