Sailling away

Raining
Woke up to rain, rain and more rain. The nights are getting chillier. The days shorter (it was already pitch black last night by 8:45) and well, fall is in the air. It was fun to watch all the fishing trawlers coming in for Seafest (shark catching derby) that is happening here in Liverpool, at the Brooklyn Marina, this weekend.
Brooklyn Marina sits right beside the Pulp and Paper mill here, and although this is really not a sailing picture, I thought it amazing how the trucks get turned almost upside down in order to unload their wood chips...
Need to sail outta here ASAP in order to get ourselves to LaHave and batten down the hatches for the upcoming Irene. At least the sun is peeking out of the clouds.
