End of November

Alex, sunny and warm
It's study time. The Amateur Radio Exam is coming up in 10 days. That's ten. Spelled phonetically Tango Echo November. But who's counting ? I'm too busy studying, or rather, trying to find the time to study.
And it's almost December time, one more November day left to go.
December means, in theory, cold and mittens and shovels. GOD only knows what season we're in when we wake up in the morning. Because on days like today, it's just plain gorgeous out, all the snow from last weeks snowstorm has disapperaed, sun is shining in bright blue skies, the air is humidly warm, and if our boat wasn't up on stilts (and hopefuly shrinkwrapped by now) I'd have called Dave up and suggested we go for a sail after work. No mittens needed.
Going for a long walk round our neighbourhood yesterday we were privy to every second neighbour climbing up and down their ladders installing strings of multicoloured lights that will shine their sparkling colours on the ginormous inflatable lawn ornaments, all standing at attention impatiently waiting for the arrival of the Big Red Guy.
It seriously feels like time is both flying by at warp speed, and yet, strangely, standing still.
