It's all about the Prepping !!

Alex, pretty mild out there !
We rang in New Year's Eve in style which is always fun, but double more so when spent in the company of great people and sharing great food. My mom always believed that what you did on New Years day was what you would be doing all year long, and she always insisted on having a clean house, full fridge, full wallet, to be surrounded by family and if your first visit was from a gentleman, then you would be doubly blessed with luck all year long.
Dave and I spent New Year's Day with each other which is always special and the lazy day culimnated with a fantastic Chinese food supper with our family, which was a perfect way to fulfill old traditions.
My committment to a continued and renewed fitness/healthy eating/spiritual practice has me starting things off (hopefully) on the right foot, quite literally, by attending a 2 hour RenewMe Yoga class yesterday. Feeling the ouchies today, I'm thinking that Dave was perhaps the smart one to sit this one out.
So now, today, the prep work starts. All work starts with an idea, followed by a list, and then everything proceeds with a one step at a time, one thing at a time type of attitdue n'est ce pas ??
Today had us prepping the house back to normal which involves getting the festive Christmas decorations put away, prepping the fridge for a more sensible way of eating which involved doing some more groceries (like where does the food go ??) and prepping for bring-from-home lunches that will prep our wallets to be a tad fatter come departure day.
Then we prepped ourselves for more work., and work for me means heading back into the cubicles of office-dom, and work for Dave means starting to prep the house for selling... a first step being to fix the nail pops, dings and scratches on the walls of the house, as a sort of first step in the pre-prep work to painting.
All in all, a prep-ful type of day, and a prep-ful type of way to start...
