We woke up and hemmed and hawed !!
The weather was not cooperating. No winds. Kind of hazy.
The internet (wi-fi) was doing even worse.
The neighbouring boat on the mooring ball next to us "banged" into us.
No damage done not even a mark. Thank goodness !
No laundry. No stores. No nothing.
Well we could take the train to Boston, but we just weren't feeling it...
and besides after 10 hours of non-stop walking yesterday, we were feeling just a tad, well, sore.
We couldn't even check Passage Weather for the next days predictions, 'cause, hmm, we didn't have WIFI !! Damn.. so we said, FRACK THIS ! Fueled and watered up, and left !!
At noon. Yessiree bob's your uncle... sometimes you just have to live on the edge !
And by suppertime we were anchored off a deserted beach at the entrance to Plymouth Harbour watching the sunset. And in fact were so lazy the next day that we had ourselves a Beach Day. A "no" day.
So we watched sunsets. And moon rises. And went for a long walk. And a long dinghy ride trying to see what was 'round the point (the entrance to Plymouth town !!) but way too far to keep going. And had to drink our coffee black as we were out of cream. And out of bread. Which made me try my hand at making pita bread.
We chatted with a kayaker out fishing. Who offered us some of his catch for supper. When Dave saw the size of this beast, and I quote "FRACK Alex, it's a 25 pound 4 foot long Bass"... That would've been a helluva lot of Sushi !!
And the next morning we pulled up anchor as we watched the sunrise...
Could it be that hemming and hawing is sometimes the best course of action ??
PS: Can you tell we just started Season 2 of Battlestar Galactica ?? Yes, I know, we're a tad behind on this whole t.v. experience.
