The excitement is building and it really feels like this we will be off soon. The last couple of days have been focused on the last few technical and provisioning tasks to try to give us a bit of free time tomorrow to relax before the big off on Sunday.
Diesel - full + loads in cans strapped to the guard-rails
Gas - probably enough to take us through to Christmas
Food - nearly there, but still some fresh fruit and veg to come tomorrow
Water - water-maker had a further sea-trial today and all went OK. Tanks will be filled again with fresh water before we go. We have now found places to store a further 42x5 litre bottles - and we can catch rain or have a shower during a squall!
Boat's water line - getting lower. Hopefully it will slowly rise as we eat food and use diesel.
Sails - had a check-in with Stuart from SeaTeach today on the Parasailor - a good outing and great to see him again.
Mast - Yesterday afternoon saw us up the mast putting on the baggywrinkles. (see photo of Bibi)
Navigation - Graham and Steve attended the sextant training today - this should keep them busy on the crossing.
Tomorrow the formal check out procedure starts and then we are on count down to Sunday midday.
So, tonight we are going to the ARC farewell cocktail party, but not before we enjoy some grilled Halloumi on the boat deck grill (yum!).
We've also now got out 'YellowBrick' tracker which pings our position details to the world. Here is a link to the Fleet Tracker where you can follow our progress across the Atlantic.

There will also be information on the ARC website.

We will also be posting on a daily basis here on the blog - as conditions allow - but no photos until we get to the other side, due to communications limitations.
Hasta maƱana.....
