La Sagesse Bay
14 April 2016 | La Sagesse Bay, Grenada
We decided to anchor in La Sagesse Bay (just off the port bow) the night before haul out at Grenada Marine in St. David's Harbour the next morning. You can see that we've already removed the main, which we did at Secret Harbour Marina (difficult to find the space at Grenada Marine). We had this beautiful Bay to ourselves. It was a bit rolly, but we've seen worse. However, the bottom is a very fine, hard sand, which made anchoring with our CQR challenging. It eventually set, but I set the Danforth off the bow at 45 degrees to be sure. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant on the beach, which has very good food and great people.
