Sunday 11th Feb
An early start but not much wind so mostly motor sailing and then the wind dead ahead of us as we rounded the cape. A longtail visitor boat came too close to our stern and managed to chop up my fishing line and lures a good £25 worth. Once on the mooring at Chalong it was up with our sunscreens as it was still very sunny. The wind from the north east has picked up to a steady 15-20knots. We went ashore with our laundry and arranged our hire car for the next day. Met Alistair for dinner. Had drinks later at the beer garden – now becoming our regular spot and have become friends with all the staff. We have come to the conclusion that everyone on a bike after 9pm is over the alcohol limit as regulars and staff drink all evening and have no worries about getting on their bike to drive home.
