Back in the Water

JUNESSA is finally back in the water! She looks sooo good with her new paint job and new stern graphics.
Some new projects have developed since the last blog....
The bow sprit was delaminating so I'll have to drive up to Vancouver, BC to get a new one.
The mast spreader brace broke in half while getting it ready to step. (install) I'll have to mill one when I get back from the Philippines.
The diesel motor is smoking a bit and putting a light sheen on the water. Soooooo, not sure how much work that will be.
Then my NEW self-leveling radar mount showed up leaking grease, the second one had play and metal on metal grinding, so they get one more chance to deliver a PERFECT mount otherwise, I'll just mount the radar on the mast...
I'm heading to the the Philippines for my 6-week rotation this Sunday. I'll post a bunch of photos in the photo gallery in a week or so. I'll have alot more free time over there!
Sounds like Alex and Cass are having a blast out in the South Pacific. Check out their blogs to the right (projectblueshpere and father daughter...)
It feels soo good to be back in the water!!!!
