Almost all sail combinations

Lara sits under the Spinnaker and is able to read for 10 minutes. Yes Isobel is napping... the seas are calm... the sails are set... so she takes a few precious minutes to read.
Having been inspired by Anastasia and a conversation with Port Townsend Sails, we had the Trys'l rigged and ready to go.
As we left Deltaville, the wind was from behind us... so we flew the genoa, poled out and the main... as the wind died we flew the cruising spinnaker... first poled out wing and wing then, as we turned to head more north, without the whisker pole on a broad reach. As the wind built, we doused the Spi and rolled out the Genoa... Then the wind built more and a huge thunderhead billowed up behind up. We dropped the main and launched the Trys'l for the first time ever. Sheeted in tight, the Trys'l kept us from rolling to badly as the genoa pulled us along at 6.5 knots. After a few hours of that... the wind died completely leaving us in 4 foot swells. We left the Trys'l up and sheeted the furled up genoa tight so both sails would reduce our roll. A very good sail training day!
