Goodbye Ningaloo, Hello Shark Bay

Good-bye Ningaloo - Hello Shark Bay: Wednesday was an early start to make the most of the breeze. The seas leaving Exmouth were some of the steepest we've seen so after rounding the cape we headed out into deeper water and off the nearby continental shelf in search for some kinder seas. As we all assumed life at sea once again, Bryan had a first experience and had a good laugh as I handed out everyone's toothbrush in the cockpit after breakfast. The breeze was 15-20 and mostly hard on the wind but was comfortable enough as we slowly made our way south towards Turtle Bay on Dirk Harthog Island. The 2hr night watches were so much easier with a third person allowing us a pleasant 4hrs sleep and Bryan easily slipped into place onboard as he had done so previously on so many occasions. Kia Ora from the NEW crew member, this yacht is Owesome Bro !!! the fellow cruising yachties have completed my induction and I am a much better Maori for this Owesome stuff, It has been sooo long since I have enjoyed sailing with great people, and I am quietly impressed with the development of Kieran and Drina since I last spoke with them in Mandurah, Kieran is giving me weather and wind data as we are sailing along, this sort of stuff makes my heart swell to the size of a rugby ball, these life experiences will stay firm with them for ever, please keep the letters and telegrams flooding in, missing you all please send more money !!! Kia Kaha !!! Bryan P ... (Uncle FOS!)
