Good-bye to a favorite spot

After our four-day stay in Tenacatita, I think Jeff's folks (Larry and Dot) agree with us about it being one of our favorite anchorages.
We had perfect weather, and a good time was had by all.
Dot and Larry crowded in to the dinghy with us as we made the jungle river trip again. We saw lots of birds, but missed catching sight of the two crocodiles that several other cruisers spotted on the same day. I think I'm just as glad.....sitting in an inflatable raft doesn't seem like the best arrangement for viewing crocs!
The snorkeling was very nice, and I saw my first sting rays. Catching a glance of so many of them will help remind me to always do the "sting ray shuffle" in the surf. (If you shuffle your feet, it is supposed to give the sting rays advance warning so you don't step on them and get stung.)
Both Dot and Larry are also talented photographers, and they've had a wealth of opportunities to use their cameras on this trip.
Jeff was able to get in some surfing one afternoon on the beach right in front of the boat.
In the evenings, Dot and I have continued our tradition of challenging each other at Scrabble. Right now we're tied, having won one game apiece.
Presently we are sailing up the coast, looking to drop the anchor in yet another perfect cove.
I have to apologize for the lack of photos recently. Jeff needs to reinstall Photoshop before we can start posting them again.
