Hawk was launched this morning. The engine started right up and was running very smoothly, and everything else seems to be working; except the depth sounder was not showing a reading, but it has often done that in this harbor, and I think/hope that is just because there is an extremely soft bottom here. We hoisted the new jib up the furler - looks like a perfect fit, but make a rather bigger roll when furled than our previous one (heavier/stiffer cloth). Beth and Evans
