Baddeck
06/11/2012, Baddeck, Nova Scotia

We made a short motor sail over to Baddeck this morning - Baddeck is the 'big city' in these parts, but its a cute and friendly little town - more touristy than St. Peters but also more marine and boat parts and skills available.

It's clear and sunny now, and we had two (bald) eagles flying around the boat yesterday for about an hour, and the anchorages are very pretty.

But the headwinds forecast are getting a bit monotonous. Current forecast is sat & sun = NE, Monday & Tues = light, and then Wed, thurs, fri = NE. I just know the minute we turn around and start going the other way the winds will shift to their more normal SW.
