The retirment harbour
06/22/2012, Macnaughtons Cove

We are anchored in Macnaughtons Cove. If the ocean cruising sailor was looking for a place to retire, this would be it. A harbour with perfect 360 degree protection, a narrow but deep entrance with 12-15' of water in the cove, there is a nice house ashore with good views out over the water, and a large barn (cows I guess but nothing was out of the fields), long slanting fields and a floating dock. It even has a really big flock of geese. Things look just a little run down, so it may even be for sale!

Hi Guys
Sorry to be looking out for you, eh!

http://www.novascotiawebcams.com/cape-breton/baddeck.html

Sure looks like Hawk there right in Baddeck Harbour. This is the only way (periodically viewing all the NS webcams) that I can keep track of what's going on in Nova Scotia from down here in Merritt Island, Florida.

Enjoy Beautiful Cape Breton
