Charleston

01 November 2012
Sunny but cool and windy
Well we survived Sandy without a scratch. We are still feeling her effects with much cooler than normal weather and consistent strong SW winds. We have used our force 10 propane heater while at anchor the last couple of nights and it was sure nice to have the extra heat it throws off. We are in Charleston today at the city marina. What a great city. We spent the afternoon and evening just strolling the streets and admiring the magnificent buildings. It must have been quite the city in its day. As we have toured Charleston before we will only spend 1 day here. Time to head south to warmer weather. As we have fresh water at the dock we plan to give Eagles Wings a much needed bath tomorrow before we set off to find another anchorage.
