We are in Isle of Hope - south (part of) |Savanah, Georgia. There is to be a big storm tonight and tomorrow so thought it would be better tied to a dock. Beautiful historic place with huge old oaks with spanish moss hanging down. Look at "Wormsloe Plantation" on the internet - it is 2 blocks away from us. we stood at one end of the long driveway lined with the old oaks. Amazing. This village is where the rich from Savanah used to come in the summer to escape the heat. We walked a mile for lunch/dinner. Will probably leave Monday morning. Will take about 2 days before we get into Florida.
