The cats have finally made the boat their home. Rain, the black and white cat freely goes up and down the ladder to the cockpit. He looks over his territory with a satisfied grin. He has become quite a boat cat. Seven, our all black (with one white whisker) cat with seven toes still needs more encouragement. Shes fine in the cabin of the boat, but is not comfortable up in the cockpit.

This has been a new experience for us traveling on the boat. We have been enjoying ourselves, discovering and exploring new places, meeting new friends and taking lots of pictures. It is now warm enough to wear shorts. The cats have become acclimated to their new surroundings and seem to have settled in just fine.

It looks like I will have to get another toy mouse. I think the cats have taken their frustrations out on this one.

Getting together with family.

This was an excellent marina. Great people, courteous service and reasonable. We had a chance to visit with family and get some needed shopping done. As we went thru the Memorial Bridge, it was having problems closing. Luckily we got thru. It was also fortunate for other boaters that it was stuck in the open position.

They have nice biking trails on Jekyll Island.
