On Saturday we joined about 200 cruisers and locals at 4pm for a 2 hour walk and run up and down steep hills and through mostly dense bush. The first photo in the gallery is of the start. The ground was slippery and muddy which mainly ended up on you. We also crossed a creek many times and I gave up and just walked through the water rather than try to stay dry. There is a photo of me against a stand of bamboo showing a dirty shirt.
Glenda unfortunately hurt her knee and could not finish the event being driven back to the start. She said something about an old knee injury. I was thinking more about the saying, the old grey mare ain't what she's see to be!
As we were 'Virgin' Hash House Harriers, we were grouped together at the end of the event and sprayed with beer, Nice touch! We also
received a 'loss of virginity' certificate, a photo of which is in the gallery.
They then dance to Reggae music and drank beer continuing even after we left at 7:30, eventually arriving back at the boat at 9pm.
