A wonderful sail down the coast of FL entering the Miami channel in early afternoon, only to be chased by the cops because we were not allowed in the Government Ch. when there are 2 cruise boats tied up. (Thanks Osama)

We will have Christmas here with some cruiser friends and then immediately push South to Key West.

I look forward to walking on Miami Beach (I called it Your- amee- beach when I was a child and asked by my mother if iI wanted to go to My amee Beach.). Dad was stationed here in 1942-3 so my sister and I played on the beach some 64 years ago with not many clothes on. I suppose it is a bit different now. Then again, maybe not. Be sure to check in to my next blog for a clothing review of South Beach!

That's funny, I was always told that that was MY cute saying, and sophisticated concept! Oh well, take it, you're there and I'm not. I love getting your pictures and hearing about your fun, although I do have a question for Stott: what are sturdy begger and sooty? Merry Christmas, love you, Chip

Merry Christmas! We're leaving Lancaster with 3' of snow on the ground, heading to Edgecomb to see what's there. Whatever it is, it ISN'T what you've been showing us on your wonderful blog!
What an adventure, Blessed Spirits!!! John and Anne Jackson

My father who lived to be 95 and passed away only a couple of years ago loved to paint and sail. His landscapes are beautiful and treasured by the family and an especially beautiful pastel was of a scene identical to this one.

What a beautiful beach! We're in Brunswick, landing with great group staying here through the holidays. Wish you were here but looks like you're having a great time of it. Watch off your stern for us after New Year.
