As you can see from the photo above, the sun is shining on the transom for the first time in nearly 7 months. We are heading North, but we need to safely cross the Bahama Banks and then the Gulf stream.

There are 2 powerful cold fronts moving about 12 hours apart coming from Florida to the Bahamas. We are docked in Chub Cay waiting for them to both pass and then will poke our head out onto the Banks to see how rough it is. We may sail from Chub to Bimini leaving tomorrow morning at 0530. But if the weather is not good, we may stay hear another day. Once we get to Bimini, we will need to wait for at least 36 hours before we cross the Gulf Stream as it will be really wild after the 2 fronts and the norht wind. (Waves to 20 feet).

So I will keep all updated and send out a big hip hip hooray when we arrive back in the USA, somewhere on the Flordia coast.
