S/V Blue Dawn of Sark: Circumnavigation I & II
Sea's Reflections
Fishing
06/17/1998

Ok, this is it, I am tired to glimpse at all these delicious meals swimming under the keel, mouth-watering and stomach grumbling, so I am taking in the art of fishing...
I could not purchase any lures for some times so tried everything I could, I made lures from toothpaste tube to Coca Cola tins. The silvery tubes do work sometimes, but I met along the way two very nice cruisers who gave me some appropriate fishing gears, I could see a look of disgust while they check my accessories. I am now all geared up and ready to take off to the high seas and tackle anything coming under the hook!
Here in Bocas, Panama, we spotted many small squids and caught several with my friend Patricia, she actually uses one of those throwing net which works marvel.
I will put pictures of my catches, which are quite small and ridiculous for the moment, just hoping that I will get better at it.
If you have any good advices and/or tips, please Help!
