We took a guided tour of the old medina of Tetouan with a very interesting and knowledgeable local man. He walked us through a maze of tiny alleys all mostly covered to make, as he told us, "a natural aircon in summer and free heater in winter". We saw an incalculable number of stores selling everything possible and you can also visit the places where they actually make the items. We came across some friendly boys making the traditional dress for the men and the incredible tannery where they turn awful looking and stinking hides into first quality leather. The medina was built on a mixture of the muslim, the catholic, the berber and the jewish world which gave her that special feeling.

My long time friends and relative, Celia, Valerie and Gerard, drove from Casablanca to see us. It was so nice to meet them again after more than 10 years!

Just lovely to see everybody again, catch up on the news and gossip. Receiving the family and friends.
On the pictures with my Aunty Zouzou & my Mum Monique, my niece Ines and Baptiste my "Bodyguard". We also had my other Aunty Martine with her husband Jacques. John came for a few days in St Tropez.
We saw our longtime friends on Appollo, Lisa & Bill, they are now in Antibes, we visited the village of Biot which was very charming for lunch. Went to Eze to meet up with Lynn & Michael, had an amazing meal at La Chevre D'Or which has the most beautiful view in the world.
We also caught up with Veronique and Alain in Port Grimaud but unfortunatly it was far too short.
