Outer Hebrides and Isle of Skye

In a place called Opsay Basin, the ground was covered in knee-high humps of moss. They were bouncy and we had fun playing tag there. The next place we went to was Flodday Sound. We did a short hike and then we all went swimming, even Mom and Dad, but Dad wouldn't jump over the side and only got his bum and feet wet. Next we left the Outer Hebrides and went to a place in the Isle of Skye called Gesto bay. There was an old fashioned farmhouse and really loud sheep. We had heard that there was a good pub in a nearby anchorage, so we drove there in our dinghy, Zoom. There was a town there too, and we went to a playground with a really fast spinny thing. Me an Jonas got really dizzy on it. The next place we went to was Loch Scavaig. There were really tall Greenland-like mountains, but with more green on them there. In the anchorage, we happened to see a boat that we had rafted on in Greenland. It was completely a coincidence, and we went to their boat for drinks. Today, we climbed the mountains and got a really good view of where we were anchored. As we pulled up anchor to leave, there was a lot of kelp on the anchor chain, so me and Mom had to get it off with boathook. We are in a town called Maliage now (which is why I have been able to update my blog, because there is internet here). We walked around, had dinner, and went for ice cream.
This is a picture of the strange moss humps.
