Lots of South Wind

We went upwind to Arklow, where we met another boat with kids. We played on the dock with them and left the next day. The water was probably the most dirty water we had ever been in because they dumped sewage in the harbour and there was a bucket of fish heads just below the surface. Then we bashed upwind to the south coast of Ireland, to a place called Kilmore Quay and went for fish and chips. The next day, we got a tour of a survey boat that we were rafted to. They were making new charts by surveying the bottom. The forecast has been
Monday: South wind
Tuesday: South wind
Wednesday: South wind
Thursday: South wind
and we were trying to go south until we rounded the point to the south coast, and now we are going west. Then we went toYoughal (pronounced Yawl). It was late, so we ate dinner and went to bed. Today, we cleaned and made Blue Hour seaworthy, because we might go to Spain tomorrow or the day after. Me and Mom went shopping, and we bought so much food that we could barely carry it back. Our anchor started dragging, so we started moving but our kayak and dinghy were down. Me and Jonas went to pull the kayak in, so we climbed into Zoom and pulled it in. Dad was going full speed ahead, so we couldn't get back on board. Then Blue Hour made a sharp turn and Zoom capsized and me and Jonas were hanging on for dear life until someone came and rescued us.
