Hydra and Spetsai

We walked around the town of Hydra. Leonard Cohen had lived there and wrote some of his songs there, so we went and saw the house where he lived. We also saw a picture of him on the Internet standing on a plank of wood right where Blue Hour was docked. Then we realized that he was standing on the same piece of wood that we had been using to get on and off the boat. We were going to leave the next day, even though it was my favourite place in Greece and I wanted to stay, because it was rough in the harbour and was going to get rougher over the next few days. When we came back from a restaurant that we had been eating dinner at, it was tricky to get back onto Blue Hour because we were moving around so much. Mom went first, but she crawled along the plank for the last bit because she couldn't keep her balance. She tied a rope to Blue Hour and gave the other end to me, Jonas, and Dad to hold on to. Dad went next and Jonas and I held the rope for him, even though we wouldn't have been able to hold him if he fell in. Jonas went after him and I was last. It was scary, because everyone else was on board and there was no one to hold the rope for me.
We sailed to the island of Spetsai the next day. We wanted to go to Hermioni because Hermione is my favourite character in Harry Potter, but the anchorage wasn't protected and the town was not that nice anyway. It was pouring rain the next day so we decided to stay at home. Then I realized that I needed some ingredients for a recipe I was making. We walked to the store, but it was closed. It was cold and wet, so we decided to go home.
