Had a good first day. We left kport at 11:00 a. M. We weren't able to sail as the wind was on our nose. But the sun was our and a relatively nice day. We made it to the Anchorage in Gloucester harbor about nightfall. Just in time to watch the first Patriots game of the season. Spoke with our kids today and they are evacuating Saint Augustine tomorrow and headed to Tallahassee to stay with our friends the Bruner. They should be safe and away from the hurricane mayhem. Tomorrow we head to cape cod canal.
