We left Viveiro twice, the first time at 8am when the wind was still quite strong and the waves looked as big as the previous evening, then again at 11am after we had gone back to the marina, whipped ourselves for being such wussies (well Jackie was mainly), re- studied the forecast and decided that the boat could handle the trip even if we couldn't. It was another windy, wave leg but as usual, Blue Spirit was impecable as usual. We arrived in La Coruna and moored up next to Moana in the Marina Nautico and spent a lovely evening being fed and entertained by our fellow Poole YC friends. The next leg is along the COAST OF DEATH, not that we are worried about it or anything!!! Still, it may be prudent to wait until the wind stops blowing 30knts. (if in fact it ever does along this coast. We wait with baited breath .........
