Assymetrical Spinnaker Time
23 October 2013
Sharon and I have decided to attempt to build our own assymetrical spinnaker. We won't be doing all the work, Sailrite is using their state of the art computers and laser cutters to lay out and cut all the material. They will then ship it to us and we will do all the sewing, by machine and by hand to put together a sail that is close to 1100 square feet. To put it into perspective, our main and jib together aren't that big. We should get our 'kit' in about a week and hopefully be able to get started right away, with updates on our progress of course.
We have also begun working on our Technician's Ham Radio course again. This all needs to be done before we set off for the Keys sometime after the New Year! Lot's to do, so little time!
