First three panels

We've started the sewing project, the biggest project so far. Our Sailrite sewing machine is doing a great job. We had to call them for some tech support on the set up for rip stop nylon, but Jeff and Mark were more than glad to help us out. Each seam has to be sewn twice and so far, we've done only three complete runs, so one and a half seams, but it's looking great! Sharon and I were both nervous with the first seam but confidence has grown with every inch! We have a small issue with glue from the tape sticking to the needle. This causes the fabric to lift since the needle doesn't want to come out smoothly. We are having to clean the needle with rubbing alcohol after each pass which will slow us down some, but they told us this was not a 'quick' project. Hey, one seam down, about 45 to go!
