Airlie Beach

Been in this Marina a few times before on other peoples boats, its been done up after also getting a bit of a hiding by Cyclone Debbie, pretty pricey but its well nice and has the best cludgies(poo facilities) by far of all the Marinas I've been in so far.
Airlie Beach is a real backpacker town, kind of like the outback meets Benidorm, lots of young folks and cheap booze, I came here the first time about 18 years ago for that very reason, went sailing and got pissed way too much.......
Oooooft! Hangovers in hot tropical places are not good, trust me, I've had a few :-)...
