NO MORE HEROES?

Ag/hot but not so muggy
Maggie and Paddy's last day....how to deal with their grief and sadness after nearly three weeks of BRAG 'bliss'....?
Well, after being rudely awoken by Brian's early morning toilet block dash, we put them to work on the anti mosquito come air con washboard design and construction job. That kept them busy in the blazing sun for a couple of hours or so...
But then we decided to entertain and thank them royally by whisking them off in a severely underpowered hire car to the surf and mountains of the north of Gran Canaria to see "the most beautiful village in all Spain". NB ALL Spain. Including the mainland and Mallorca etc etc. What a treat, you're all thinking...
Two and a half hours of climbing, descending, climbing, descending, climbing, climbing, climbing and then climbing a never ending series of hair pin bends on a single track road with a vertiginous drop of millions of metres...in a motor powered by a lawn mower...
Lo! Tejeda, the most beautiful village in ALL Spain? Debatable.
And then we had to get back home. Before dark. No, in the dark. Maggie and Paddy had such a lovely last day....
Thank goodness for lunch on the terrace at Porto Sardine before the bends kicked in...
'Will Ye No' Come Back Again? Hmmm.....
