DAY 11 - Blue Sky Thinking and Doing!

DAY 11
Another day and a bluer sky and an acceptance of what will be will be as well as.a 1.30-4.30 shift dragged me out of the pits and back into make pasta salads (tuna +'pesto) for lunch and Round British Quizmaster position. The boys had a much needed 'shower' and life on board goes on. Running out of fresh veg apart from onions, potatoes and cabbage, can't find kitchen roll or chocolate but Ed made a delicious dhal for dinner and I attempted a La La Land movie night but everyone was in bed by 8pm...here's to shooting stars and another TWO weeks at sea - it's always two weeks eta no matter how many times we hit 9knts and they say we're doing well finding the winds etc. Meanwhile the rest of the fleet appears to be a couple of days ahead of us...oh I can feel the dark descending again but tomorrow is St Andrews Day and haggis beckons but before that there's another lunch with no bread to face....
