Hello from Pancake Creek

14 September 2013
After an overnight stopover in Long Beach(GKI) we continued to Pancake Creek where we spent a couple of days. Pancake Creek is located halfway between Gladstone and Bundaberg. Very popular area with quite a few yachts and catamarans at anchor. Did a bit of fishing catching a stone fish and a decent size spangler emperor. Ray from Simba was there also and kindly invited us to a feast of freshly caught Mud Crabs from The Narrows (definitely going there next year) We have never seen or tasted crabs like these before, just amazing!

Extra: Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do then by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the Dream. Discover. -- Mark Twain -- Living the dream and sailing into the sunset
