Still working. Yesterday we put the running rigging back up! Except the staysail halyard- I think the snake we had sent up must have broke- becuase we cant find it to send up the new halyard- so the next non-windy day Im going up! We cut larger holes for the cockpit speakers..yes we are getting on to the necessities now! The fiberglass guy came for 45 minutes SUnday and 30 minutes yesterday- grinding my blisters down further and filling them with epoxy, getting ready to paint. It will be nice to have those gone...I wonder where the new ones will pop up :)
I hooked up more of the electronics - I couldnt even tell you where I am with that mess. A multiplexer, a fishfinder, a TackTick NMEA box, connecting wires the size of molecules into holes the size of needle eyes...that consumed most of my ay yesterday. I managed to paint two coats of Interprotect2000 Barrier Coat around the new fishfinder transducer...2 more to go today and then the first layer of Super ShipBottom antifouling paint. Two more after that, two days in a row. I messed around more with testing the wind generator, after adding in a blocking diode to the picture. It ran all night without me, so we will see if the boat exploded without me there to monitor it all night. (Mistake) It poured last night, and the speaker holes were open- so again- we will see if the boat sank (on the hard) while we were gone.
Patrick has already left this morning to get started (8:05am), but I have a real estate related meeting this morning- and then I have to leave early for a showing at 4:30pm. SO I havent quit entirely yet...
Patrick is full time ont he boat now, officially done, and selling all his tools. It feels great- he accomplishes so much in a day...no complications, no complaining- he is truly as excited about this as I am!

Thats all for now.

We decided to take the slow route, down the sidewalk..ie the Intracoastal Waterway, the ICW. We went slowly, and smelled the flowers along the way. We are with old friends of Patricks, new friends of mine...Art and Grace Ormaniec, in Manteo, North Carolina.

AT THE END, Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride! And I still have my Arizona driver license!! '
