Still working on the boat!

Sorry about the long gap in writing!
We have been very busy installing new SeaFrost Refridgeration, Painting the interior of our water tanks to try to extend their lives, and buying spares for everything from lightbulbs to pressure cooker gaskets! I put a lot of new parts on the stove/Oven and it looks like we are going to be able to survive with that stove for a while. Keeping our fingers crossed for the oven part of the stove....no parts are made for it anymore!
We are heading out on Friday morning hopefully, to sail to Block Island and give the boat a good shakedown cruise... See what breaks so we know what we can have fun fixing next!
We went sailing last weekend to have some pictures taken for Blue Water Sailing, and enjoyed a great spinnaker sail up the entire Sakonnet River, and shook up the tanks pretty well out inthe ocean to see Patrick Fuel cleaning system work really well capturing some water and gunk from the fuel tanks.
We are getting a new HUGE manual bilge pump from Edson delivered today, so Patrick has one more thing on his list to do, and I am still working to make this radio have less interference, and longer range for updating this web site, sending emails, etc...as well as developing a list of nets to listen and check in on as we go through our travels. The days are long and fun! We work from 8am to about 8pm every single day...the days fly and we love it!
We are looking in to getting a new Genoa Sail made for us, but besides that, we do see the light at the end of the tunnel I think.
ONE A SEPARATE VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
Prayers go out to our friend Bruce in Massachusetts. He was doing work for Habitat for Humanity in Phonenix Arizona about 3 weeks ago. He was mugged, robbed, and tied up in his hotel room, and was undiscovered for 20 hours! When they found him he had to have his left hand amputated, and they are still working to save his right hand. His wife knew something was wrong when she hadnt gotten her nightly call from him, so she started calling hospitals in Phoenix until she found him. How horrible of an event to happen. It makes me realize how lucky I am, and how small my daily problems really are. Please pray for him...
