We made it to our anchorage just inside the Ringling Causeway 65 foot bridge a little before sunset. Sarasota used to be the winter home of the circus but that is no longer the case:( Still, maybe that explains the big purple arena we saw as we came in. There is also a brightly colored house that looks like an Escher print. Our trip today included 8 bridges, a couple of hours on Tampa bay, and a passage across Sarasota bay.
