Bayou Petit Anse to Shell Morgan

Beverly/sunny and hot
Fugue at the Shell Morgan dock in Intracoastal City. Ralph is toasting you with his beer!
Today was kind of a "slacker" day. We only traveled 14 miles (3 hours) motoring in light winds. We needed fuel and knew this was a good place for that so we were lazy. We got up late, had a nice breakfast and headed this way. I finally got to see an alligator in the water, but sadly it was dead and floating belly up.
We got worried as we got to Intracoastal City because nothing looked familiar. It turned out there was a barge parked in just the right place to block our view of Shell Morgan so once we got far enough past it to see we were relieved. We pulled up to the fuel dock, got our diesel (for the boat) and gasoline (for the generator) and pulled over to the dock to tie up for the night. The dock isn't pretty, but it's easy to get in and it's only $20/night, including electricity! Plus there is a convenience store just a block away that even has fresh meat, some fruit, and vegetables.
